Very many people who profess the Christian faith the world over strongly express the belief that the world has reached the end time or the last days as predicted in the bible, that is to say, near the time of the coming of the Lord Jesus and the end of the age. (Mt 24:30, Lk 21:27, Mk 13:26). Apart from this global apprehension about the imminent end of the world, millions of Christians also believe or hope or pray that they will ‘go to heaven’ whenever the ‘end’ comes, whether it comes before the coming of Jesus through natural or accidental death or whether they live until the second coming of Christ and end of the age.
Well, it is a good thing, even very important thing for christians to look forward to going to heaven because going to heaven is the most important purpose of the gospel of Jesus Christ or Christianity. But then, many people have never stopped for a while to check themselves to really find out whether they are on the right road to this heaven of their dream. They have never stopped to consider one very fearful bible prediction of the characteristics of the end time which is the prediction of the state of widespread deception, that is to say, a situation in which too many people will be under deception, which means a state in which people are in error whereas they are not aware they are in error and think they are in the right course!
It should be good if such read some of these bible predictions of universal deception in the last days.
